Stage 2 Drought Restrictions Now in Effect - Please Conserve Water

Stage 2 - Moderate Drought

Willow Creek Farms MUD improvement in water usage over the past few days and will be rolling back to Stage 2 Drought Watering Restrictions. Stage 2 Drought requires Willow Creek Farms to institute mandatory water restrictions as part of our Drought Contingency Plan.

Continued high usage could push WCFMUD back into Stage 3 Drought. Stage 3 Drought would not allow ANY outdoor watering. Please help us conserve water by following the restrictions below!

All outdoor water usage, including, but not limited to, lawn and garden watering, car washing, and window washing, shall be limited as follows:

  • Even Numbered Addresses may water Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday ONLY.

  • Odd Numbered Addresses may water Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday ONLY.

  • NO outdoor watering on Monday.

  • NO outdoor watering any day between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. AND 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: Residents not following the Mandatory Watering Restrictions may face disconnection and/or financial penalties.

Currently, Willow Creek Farms MUD has a Joint Water Plant Agreement with our neighboring MUD, Fulshear MUD 3A. In order to split the water capacity evenly, as laid out in the agreement, Fulshear MUD 3A will continue to observe Stage 3 Drought Restrictions while Willow Creek Farms MUD will roll back to Stage 2 Drought Restrictions.

The usage amongst both Districts continues to be high, so we still encourage water conservation, and we will continue to monitor the well runtime and adjust the drought stages as necessary to preserve the system.
